Reamer
LOTHMANN offers you the high-performance reamers of the FXR series from MAPAL, which are the tools of choice when short cycle times are required. The reamers are available with different cutting materials and coatings.
This means that almost all materials can be machined economically and reliably with them. The tools, which are available in diameters ranging from 2.800 to 20.200 mm, achieve IT7 tolerances without any adjustment effort. The diameters can be configured in 0.001 mm increments.
FXR505 is mainly used for blind holes.
Reaming tools
Solid carbide reamers for a wide range of applications. Depending on the diameter, the Fix-Ream high-performance reamers have between four and eight cutting edges with internal cooling and thus achieve correspondingly high feed rates.
FXR510 is suitable for through holes and is preferably used for steel, cast iron and stainless steel.
